Last week, me, myself and a couple of other bloggers were invited to go on a little shopping spree in Paris. Sounds dangerous? I can assure you, it was (for my bank account). When shopping addicts travel in packs, they only enforce each other’s bad behavior which usually results in overspending (the fact that I’m the only one that bought something major is obviously so not the issue right now). Of course, I’d been eying and dreaming about “Bobby”, the Isabel Marant sneaker, for a while so it only took one short visit and lots of encouraging cheers (mostly from Afrodite) to buy them. In about five minutes. Oops. Don’t judge and let’s move on.
Personal shopper Eléonore Chedeville showed us around Paris and more specifically Le Marais – all in all a very fun yet exhausting day that could have only been made better if I’d just won the lottery and could actually afford all those Céline bags or you know, a basic pillow at the Hermès store. Picture taking was often not allowed, so I can only show you un petit peu of our Parisian day, which included lots of goofing around, one ginormous hamburger lunch followed by chocolate cake, beautiful stores and great company. Au revoir, Paris – à la prochaine! Special thanks to Thalys for getting us there so fast in style.
