Day one: I know what you’re thinking and I just want to say – don’t judge me by the size of my suitcase. I admit it’s a bit big for one night, but I assure you it wasn’t full (not until after our shopping spree at Primark). Let’s just say that packing light is not my strong suit. Our flight left in the afternoon, so we arrived around dinner time in the land of the Irish – a place where no leprechauns were seen but incomprehensible taxi drivers did take us to our destination. Less magical, still practical. After ooh-ing and aah-ing over the Christmas decorations in the hotel, the entire fashion pack headed over for dinner at Bite, which resulted in a very noisy dinner room with lots of great food. Since it was late and we had an early wake-up call for the tour, I ended the day with a relaxing bath, followed by the bed.

Day two: Oh yes, that’s when the fashion action went down. After a shopping trip to Penneys (the original Primark name) it was time to do what we came to do – see the upcoming spring collection! Primark is all about incorporating the big trends and making them super affordable for anyone. Isabel Marant inspired jackets and shirts, sweet pastel dresses, crazy cool accessories and California-cool inspired menswear – you name it, they’ve got it. I already got my eye on some of those pieces (and already bought a few), see anything you like? As you may know, Belgium already has a Primark in Luik and is planning to open one in Ghent soon. Happy shopping!
