Besides fashion and travel, I have this other interest called wine. Well, let’s just say food and drinks in general – you can always convince me to go out and eat or have a dinner party with friends, something that’s not complete until there’s a good bottle of wine involved, am I right? Or did I just sound like a raging alcoholic? I assure you I’m not, but I do think there’s nothing better than a fine glass of wine to complete a delicious meal and that’s that. When Stéphanie asked me to join her at Apéros Bordeaux last night, I didn’t hesitate. Beautiful location? Yes. Good wine? For sure. A fun night out with friends? Most definitely!
So that’s how I ended up at the grand market on a Wednesday night – holding a glass of wine, taking some pictures, having some fun. If you’re not familiar with the concept, Apéros Bordeaux is an after work party – they always choose a different bar in different cities – where you can go and enjoy the best Bordeaux wine at a reasonable price and they usually provide a free gig – fun guaranteed! I tasted (everything), declared it was (very) good and acted a bit sillier as the hours passed by. Don’t blame me, blame Bordeaux!
