I’m what you would call a massage addict. On more than one occasion (okay, every week), I have dreamt of winning the lottery and when my mind wanders off and I’m thinking about all the things I would do with my newly acquired richness, hiring a personal masseur is definitely one of them. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Thermae Boetfort and baby sister Thermae Grimbergen before – visits that are always filled with spa treatments, tons of relaxing and yummy food. On this particular blogger night not too long ago, I chose the Lomi Lomi massage – which is an ancient Hawaiian massage where they apply a deep pressure all over your body, making you all relaxed and doze off within five minutes. If you book one of these babies (the massage, not an actual newborn) on a regular basis, it’s supposed to make you sleep better and faster – something I admittedly have trouble with. I only had the one experience for now, but I’m willing to volunteer and try this on a weekly basis to see if it really works, you know? Just in the name of research, of course.
