Unlike Martha Stewart, I’m not much of a baking expert – therefore I’ll always look for the simple yet delicious alternatives whenever I decide to use the oven for something other than making pizza. Last week, I wanted to make some birthday cookies for a dinner party and that’s how I stumbled upon a recipe for these chocolate chip banana oatmeal cookies. Easy, because you only need three ingredients. Fast, because you just mash everything together and put it in the oven for 15 minutes on 180 degrees. Healthy, because oatmeal, bananas and pure dark chocolate. A success, because everybody loved them! These babies are the healthy equivalent of the American chocolate chip cookie (one of my favorites), and I’m sure this won’t be the last time I’ve made them – because: YUM.
The ingredients: 2 ripe bananas, a cup of oatmeal and pure dark chocolate (you can also get those prepared chocolate chips)
