Couleur Café is the festival that kicks off summer/vacation in Belgium, or it least that’s always been the case in my book. I’ve experienced many sunny editions in the past, but this time Zalando invited us to attend and made the experience just a little bit more special. Getting that hair done and those nails did, check. Having some fresh strawberry margaritas and posing for some pictures, check. The cutest vintage Volkswagen driving us to the festival, check! It wasn’t the fastest transportation, but definitely the most original one (and, you know – something to scratch off the bucket list).
Since the sun was not on our side that day (luckily it stopped raining later in the evening), none of us could actually wear the planned festival outfit – but that couldn’t spoil the fun. In any case, I’m pretty much in love with my denim dungarees and am planning to wear them non-stop this summer. The fact that it ticks off the three important C’s (comfy, cute, casual) makes it the perfect piece to dance the night away at summer festivals. Add pretty sandals and a top with a beach print and I’m one happy gal – maybe I’d add a mojito to really make the look complete.
