My next destination is certainly a dreamy one. When we started searching for this year’s winter destination (last year it was Sri Lanka, the year before Thailand) it took us quite some time to decide. Even though countries like Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia are still on the to-visit list, the Philippines persuaded us this time with its many beautiful islands, underwater life and extraordinary nature. Since there are more than 7000 islands to choose from, it was another task to decide where we would actually go. Even though El Nido in Palawan was pretty high up in the list, we decided to go for three different island that could be easily combined since we didn’t want to waste too much time on transportation. The first island on our trip is Bohol, which offers beaches and nature – and also the cutest animal alive known as the tarsier. After that we’re off to “magical” Siquijor, which basically looks like a beach bum’s dream come true. Last on the list is Dumaguete, from which we’ll visit Apo island (where you can swim with sea turtles as seen above – probably the thing I’m looking forward to the most of the trip) and fly back to Manila. In any case, I’ll make sure to spoil you with plenty of pictures when we’re back, but you can follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (@brunettebloggin) to see what I’m up to there!
