When you’re smack in the middle in the center of Brussels, you’re bound to be surrounded by touristy places – but luckily there are some real gems around here as well. Peck 47 is one of those, and considering the street where it’s located you’d hardly expect it. I’ve tried and tested their juices and cakes on more than occasion, and they’re the perfect pick-me-up if you need a little break from shopping or just the crowd in general in the area. I haven’t tried the other food on the menu yet, but what’s remarkable about it here is that they use waffles in combination with salty stuff instead of sandwiches. If that grosses you out – I can’t quite testify if it should, but judging from the other reviews it’s supposed to be delicious. In any case – it’s on my to-try list for my next visit!
