Venturing out to Brooklyn is pretty much a must these days when you’re taking a trip to New York, whether it’s your first of fifth time. Dumbo and Williamsburg are two neighborhoods that are all about hipness which makes it really fun to stroll around, do some shopping and take in the view of Manhattan across the river. When you’re coming from the city, you can easily take the subway here – but I would definitely suggest to walk back via the Brooklyn Bridge (or do it the other way around, depends on what you prefer). This street in Dumbo is quite famous thanks to the view, there were plenty of people crowding the street trying to take the perfect shot (as you can see I’m also guilty of that tourist crime). Unless you go really early in the morning, this is definitely not the easiest location for an outfit shoot but the blogger in me can never resist a good “iconic” background (Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and Flatiron building – check!). I picked up this cozy cardigan on one of my “New York shopping sprees” (Madewell is always a mandatory stop), since I loved the boho meets Christmas vibes and the fact that it’s super warm – thoughts?
