When you’re spending time on the Caribbean side of Panama, you’re sure to be surrounded by colorful houses, palm trees, reggae vibes and probably more than one tropical downpour. Of course, all these bright colors are basically a bloggers dream come true – especially when they match your pineapple shirt. This piece is something I bought years ago on a flea market in Thailand for next to nothing, and it has always remained a favorite of mine. Bocas del Toro is one of Panama’s “prime” tourist destinations (read: the place that was marketed first as the Caribbean paradise to be), but my boyfriend and I didn’t quite fell in love with it. It’s not bad, but I guess we both felt it didn’t live up to the hype. I’ll give my travel tips and advice in a more elaborate post about Panama soon, along with some recommendations of where you should go – and what to skip – but for now let’s stick to pineapples and palm trees!
