Travel outfits: Thailand

What I’m wearing: Madewell top – Pull & Bear shorts – Geox sandals – Komono sunglasses

What & where: The picturesque train station of Hua Hin. We decided to make a stop here since it was a good connecting point in the middle of our two main destinations (Koh Tao and Kanchanaburi). Apparently, Hua Hin is a bit like a vacation spot for wealthier Thais and you can find some fun markets around here, such as Cicade or Plernwan.

What I’m wearing: Mango top & trousers – Geox sandals – Forever 21 purse – Komono sunglasses

What & where: From Bangkok, we took the train for a day trip to Ayutthaya to visit the remains of the old city. I’m not sure if it was the jet lag or the fact we were still adjusting to the temperatures, but it was sweltering hot that day (and the fact that I needed to wear long pants didn’t help). The site was much bigger than we expected, as the remains of the temples are spread all over the city. We rented a bike to explore – it’s okay, but beware that you’ll have to face some crazy traffic at times. I’ll admit, it would have helped us to be a little bit more prepared (and a little less tired – I blame the jet lag), but I’d still recommend doing this as a day trip from Bangkok!

What I’m wearing: Forever 21 parka – Pull & Bear top – Object shorts – Geox sandals – Komono sunglasses

What & where: Walking the “famous” Bridge on the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi. This place is especially known thanks to the movie, but I liked a lot of the things Kanchanaburi and its surroundings have to offer. Taking a trip to the Hell Fire Pass (open-air) museum is a must, as is going to the beautiful Erawan falls. You’ll surely enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!

What I’m wearing: Billabong playsuit – Komono sunglasses

What & where: At the “Love Koh Tao” viewpoint. This island has some verrry steep streets, which require a bit more advanced motorbike skills (thank you, boyfriend). On the bright side, all those hills mean that you do get to enjoy more than one pretty view around here!

What I’m wearing: Pull & Bear top – Object shorts – Komono sunglasses

What & where: Enjoying a moment of calm in Kanchanaburi at a super pretty spot by the water, which we happened to stumble upon by accident.

What I’m wearing: Madewell top – H&M shorts – Komono sunglasses – Forever 21 purse

What & where: On our first full day in Bangkok (take me back please!), exploring vibrant Chinatown.

What I’m wearing: Bershka playsuit – Forever 21 sandals – Veritas striped bag – Komono sunglasses

What & where: Looking for a bit of peace and quiet in Bangkok at Lumphini park, which is a green oasis in this big, busy city.

What I’m wearing: vintage shirt bought on a previous trip to Thailand – Object shorts – Sacha sunglasses

What & where: Living the island life to the max at Koh Tao, and enjoying one of the beautiful pink sunsets from my sea swing.
