Two things you can count on when you’re going to Seville in the summer months? Extreme heat and pretty buildings everywhere (I’ll admit, those will also be there in winter). Obviously Spain is expected to be quite hot, but 40 degrees during the day is a bit too much – even for me. Especially when you’re still sweating at 10PM because it’s *still* 32 degrees out. Yup. Other than that, Seville is certainly a charming and pleasant destination for a city trip but I guess that’s pretty obvious. We stayed in the Triana area, which is a short(-ish) walk from the center. It’s the perfect location if you’re traveling by car, since it’s easy to park here but the location is still great, beautiful and lively. Oh, and if I’d have to give one food recommendation while you’re in Seville it would without a doubt be El Pinton. The food is ah-mazing, especially price-quality wise (and compared to other places where you’ll pay the same for way less deliciousness). And the interior is really pretty too (they also have a nice terrace)! Go there, order the burrata salad and salad tartar. You won’t regret it.
